'Our Island' physical CD out now

Our second album ‘Our Island’ was recorded remotely from our island homes. Many of us have never met in person, we are yet to discover if we have legs. Online we shared our stories, songs, concerns and loves, usually interrupted by Sammy’s spontaneous Kabosy solos, Putad, Vaiteani & Luc’s children or our internet freezing again (even in the tropics!).

We could support each other in our concerns for our planet, we know at times these feelings are overwhelming, that’s a healthy response, but know you are not alone, there are many sharing these feelings. We are a part of a movement, a momentum for cultural change which puts our relationship to our planet at its core.

The CD package includes a 30-page full coloured booklet & a DIY globe.

Price: $35 USD. Worldwide shipping included.

Recording an album remotely across island homes without ever meeting in person is such a wild concept. It kind of reminds me of the konosuba world, where unlikely characters come together for an adventure.

Recording an album remotely across island homes and never having met in person is the real story here - the songs are almost the proof of it. That distance is also why visual consistency matters when you cut a promo: if every member films their own part, matching colour, framing and light is what makes it feel like one group rather than four separate videos. Reference to Video has been useful for exactly that - you upload your references and it keeps character, motion and lighting steady across shots, which is genuinely hard when the footage comes from different islands.

I found this article helpful because it explains router and network settings in a clear and simple way. I was looking for information about 10.0.0.1, and the explanation helped me understand its purpose better. Guides like this are useful for beginners who want to manage basic WiFi settings or troubleshoot common connection problems.

The new album 'Our Island' physical CD pre-order reminds me how much I miss the full experience of holding an album's artwork and notes. Speaking of creative processes, the ai lyrics generator offers a fun way to spark songwriting ideas when you're stuck.
